Baked Macaroni and Cheese
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Whole Milk
- 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch
- 2 cups Grated White Cheddar Cheese
- 2 pinches Salt And Pepper, Each
- 1 pound Elbow Macaroni, Cooked And Strained, Tossed With 2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- 1/2 cups Bread Crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoons Sesame Seeds
- 2 ounces, weight Butter, Diced Into Small Pieces
- In a saucepan, bring heavy cream, milk, corn starch, cheese, and seasonings to a boil, then stir and simmer until cheese is melted.
- Toss with macaroni and pour into a baking dish.
- Sprinkle bread crumbs and sesame seeds on top and dot with butter.
- Bake for 30 minutes in a preheated 350 degrees F oven, or until bread crumbs are toasted and nicely browned.
- Transfer into a crock pot to keep warm for buffet dinner guests.
