German Chocolate Caramel Bars
- 1 pkg. carmels
- 1 can (5 oz.) evaporated milk
- 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- Cook 1/3 cup evaporated milk and carmels over low heat until melted.
- Mix remaining 1/3 cup evaporated milk, cake mix and Oil with mixer on med-high for approximately 2 minutes or until well blended.
- Spread half of the cake mixture into the bottom of a 9x13-inch pan.
- Bake at 350F for 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven.
- Carefully spread carmel mixture onto baked base.
- Dob remainder of cake mixture on carmel.
- Sprinkle Chocolate Chips across the top.
- Return to oven for 15 minutes.
