Mushroom Stoganoff
- 1 whole Onion Finely Minced
- 3 cloves Garlic, Finely Minced
- 2 Tablespoons Bragg's Aminos
- 1 pound Brown Mushrooms, Sliced
- 1 cup Cashew Sour Cream
- Rice Or Noodles, Cooked, To Serve
- Spray large frying pan with cooking spray Add onion and cook over medium heat.
- As onion begins to dry out and brown, you will see brown bits sticking to the bottom of the pan.
- Add a small amount of water to get all of the flavor off the pan and onto the onion.
- Add garlic and continue to cook until soft, 2-3 minutes.
- Add the Braggs and stir.
- Add the mushrooms.
- Dont stir; let them release their liquid and start to cook down.
- Flip once or twice to make sure theyre evenly cooked but not enough to break them.
- I like to do this part the night before and then let is sit overnight so all the flavors combine.
- But you dont have to do this.
- Before serving, add the cashew sour cream.
- Serve over rice or noodles.
