Mediterranean Pork Chops Recipe
- 4 loin pork chops, very lean, 1/2" thick, well trimmed
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 1/2 teaspoon marjoram
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1/8 teaspoon onion pwdr
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 c. water
- Brown chops in oil in large skillet.
- Pour off fat.
- Mix seasonings together and sprinkle over chops.
- Add in water and cover tightly.
- Reduce heat and simmer over low heat 1 hour or possibly till tender.
- Makes 4 servings.
- 125 calories per serving.
