Buckwheat Cakes Recipe

• 1 c. buckwheat flour
• 1 tsp baking pwdr
• 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
• 1/4 tsp soda
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1 x egg, well beaten
• 1 c. sour lowfat milk
• 1 Tbsp. butter, melted

1. Sift flour once, measure, add in baking pwdr, sugar, soda and salt, and sift again.
2. Combine egg and lowfat milk and add in to flour.
3. Stir only till smooth.
4. Add in butter.
5. Bake on warm, well-greased griddle.
6. Serve warm with Log Cabin Syrup.
