Italian Bread Salad
- 1 gal. Italian or French bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1-1/2 qt. tomatoes, seeded, coarsely chopped King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 3 cups red onions, finely chopped King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 3 cups cucumbers, seeded, coarsely chopped
- 3 cups small pitted black olives
- 3/4 cup fresh basil
- 4-1/2 cups KRAFT Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing
- to taste salt
- to taste black pepper
- Place bread cubes in sheet pan.
- Bake in 350F-standard oven 8 to 10 min.
- or until lightly toasted, stirring occasionaly.
- Cool.
- Toss vegetables with olives and basil in large bowl.
- Add bread cubes and dressing; mix lightly.
- Season with salt and pepper; cover.
- Refrigerate several hours or until chilled.
- Toss lightly before serving.
