Cheesy Baked Tortellini

  1. In a medium bowl, combine marinara, cream cheese, basil, Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes (if using).
  2. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bring a pot of water to a boil.
  5. Season boiling water with salt.
  6. Add tortellini and cook for 2 minutes; drain.
  7. Add tortellini to marinara mixture.
  8. Pour into greased 8x8 baking dish.
  9. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  10. Dot with butter.
  11. Bake uncovered 35 minutes.
  12. Note: I like to put this casserole under the broiler for a minute or two just to get the casserole a little more brown on top.
