Skillet Chicken N Gravy
- 4 chicken breasts, Boneless & Skinless
- 1 onion, Chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, Chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, Sliced
- 1 tablespoon dried celery flakes
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 14 teaspoon rubbed sage
- 14 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 2 (1 ounce) packages chicken gravy mix
- 2 cups cold water
- Cut each Breast in half.
- Melt Butter in heavy skillet.
- Add Onions, Peppers & Celery to the skillet.
- Saute on medium heat for 10 minutes.
- Add Chicken pieces to the skillet.
- Season with Salt, Pepper, Sage & Poultry Seasoning.
- Depending on the thickness of your Breasts, you will want to saute the Chicken for about 5 to 10 minutes on each side.
- Whisk 2 cups cold Water with the 2 packages of Chicken Gravy Mix until smooth.
- Add gravy mixture to the skillet when the Chicken is half done.
- Bring to a fast boil over medium high heat.
- Reduce heat and simmer until Chicken is done and gravy is desired thickness.
- Serve with Parsley Rice.
