Marsala Cake
- 150 grams Flour
- 150 grams Granulated sugar
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 5 Eggs
- 1/4 cup Marsala wine
- 1 tbsp Baking powder
- Mount (whisk) the egg whites and set it aside
- Whisk together the butter, sugar and egg yolks
- Add the Marsala wine and mix well
- Add the flour
- Add the egg whites you previously mounted and stir gently
- Add the baking powder and mix well
- Grease a baking dish, add your dough and bake it for about 25 to 40 minutes (depends a lot on your over) at 180 C / 350F
- This is the frosting I used in this recipe: Condensed Milk frosting
