Amazing mac and cheese!

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Cook and drain macaroni according to package directions; set aside.
  3. In large saucepan, melt butter.
  4. Slowly add flour mixed with salt and pepper, whisking as you add, until well blended.
  5. Slowly pour in cream and milk, stirring constantly.
  6. Bring to a boil.
  7. Boil 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  8. Reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
  9. Add shredded cheddar, little by little, and simmer until cheese is melted.
  10. Cube the velveeta into small cubes and add to mixture.
  11. Stir until melted.
  12. Turn off heat.
  13. Add macaroni to the saucepan.
  14. Toss to coat with cheese sauce.
  15. Transfer macaroni mixture to a buttered baking dish.
  16. Sprinkle some cheddar on top and bake for 20 minutes.
  17. Enjoy!
