Crunchy Granola Recipe
- 10 c. old fashioned rolled oats (not quick)
- 2 c. wheat germ
- 2 1/2 c. coconut
- 1 c. sunflower seeds
- 2 c. minced nuts
- 1 c. sesame seed (leave out if you're having Pastor Stan over for breakfast)
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c. salad oil
- 2/3 c. water
- 1 tbsp. vanilla
- Mix the dry ingredients together in a very large bowl.
- Combine salad oil, water and vanilla.
- Stir well and keep stirring as you add in liquid to dry ingredients.
- Mix well.
- Spread on two large cookie sheets and bake in 250 degrees over for 1 hour and 20 min.
- Stir every 20 min.
- Store in covered containers.
- Raisins or possibly other dry fruit may be added after baking.
