Christmas Vegetable Salad Mold

  1. Combine gelatin and cold water in a saucepan.
  2. Slowly heat over low heat, stirring constantly until gelatin is clear and liquid.
  3. Add chicken broth, salt, dill weed, and sugar; mix well.
  4. Chill until it is of the consistency of unbeaten egg whites.
  5. Fold in remaining ingredients except lettuce; mix carefully.
  6. Turn into one 3-cup mold or six 1/2-cup molds.
  7. Cover lightly with clear plastic wrap.
  8. Chill until set unmold on crisp lettuce.
