Worth It Ground Beef Curry

  1. Brown meat.
  2. Drain and set aside.
  3. In same skillet, melt butter.
  4. Cook onions, seeds, cloves, garlic, bay leaf, and cinnamon stick for 10 minutes.
  5. Add curry powder, salt, pepper and tomato paste and fry for 3 minutes.
  6. Add browned meat and sour cream.
  7. Stir to combine.
  8. Cover and cook 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  9. Remove seed, cloves, cinnamon stick and bay leaf (I have a friend who refuses to find the seeds and cloves.
  10. Her husband loves this so much he doesn't mind occasionally biting down on them!)
  11. Serve over rice.
  12. Top as desired.
  13. My husband loves the fruit chilled.
  14. He tops with nuts and coconut, then whatever fruit we have chilled, then chutney.
  15. He eats until he hurts!
  16. I leave out the pepper.
  17. This dish has a lot of flavor and does not need hot, but some people need chutney to be hot.
