Black Beans and Matcha Steamed Petit Buns with Pancake Mix

  1. Add all ingredients into a bowl and mix well using a whisk (mix well to avoid the matcha from clumping).
  2. Add pancake mix to the mixture from Step 1 and whisk.
  3. Evenly pour the dough into 6 cups.
  4. Put 3 beans into each of the cups (press them in).
  5. Steam in a heated steamer for about 10 to 13 minutes over medium heat.
  6. It's done when you can poke a hole with a skewer and it comes out clean.
  7. Press in black beans in the center of the finished buns.
  8. Cool slightly on a rack to finish.
  9. I used small paper cups.
  10. If you use pudding lining, you can make 3 to 4.
  11. It's a little difficult to eat.
  12. Chop the cups with scissors, and peel as you eat, or use a spoon.
