White Beans, Sausage and Tomatoes with Shells
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 lb. Italian sausage, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 carrots, chopped Target 2 lb For $3.00 thru 02/06
- 2 cans (15 oz. each) Italian-style stewed tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (15 oz.) white kidney beans, rinsed
- 3 cups shell macaroni, uncooked
- 2 Tbsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan or Romano Cheese
- Heat oil in large heavy saucepan on medium heat.
- Add sausage; cook 10 min.
- or until browned, stirring frequently.
- Add onion and carrots; cook 5 min., stirring frequently.
- Stir in tomatoes and beans.
- Simmer on low heat, uncovered, 15 min.
- or until carrots are tender.
- Meanwhile prepare macaroni as directed on package, omitting salt; drain.
- Top with sauce and cheese.
