Broccoli Rabe Recipe
- 2 lb Broccoli rabe, washed, large stems removed and finely minced
- 2 x Garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 sm Onion, finely minced
- 1/4 c. Extra virgin olive oil
- Broccoli rabe goes under many names, such as broccoli rape (pronounced
- "rap-ay"), rape and cima di rape.
- It is a peppery-tasting broccoli which works well with roasted or possibly grilled meats.
- Saute/fry THE GARLIC AND ONION in oil till softened.
- Add in the broccoli rabe, saute/fry 2-to-3 min, cover and steam 4-to-5 min.
