Tomatoes and Gorgonzola

  1. Core tomato and slice in half.
  2. If necessary cut a thin slice off bottom so the halves will stand upright.
  3. Sprinkle basil and pepper on tomato halves.
  4. Top with cheese.
  5. Broil 8 to 12 minutes, depending on the size of the halves, until cheese melts and tomato is beginning to soften.
