Speedy Cooking! Chopped Pork Rice Bowl

  1. Marinate the meat in a 3:1 ratio of sake and soy sauce.
  2. Once the meat is seasoned, throw out the soy sauce mixture, and coat in 2 tablespoons of katakuriko,
  3. Julienne the green peppers and onions.
  4. Saute the onions first, then add the pork and saute, until it's half cooked.
  5. Add the green peppers and saute, then season with salt and pepper.
  6. Add the ingredients and simmer to reduce the sauce a bit.
  7. Add butter for the finishing touch.
  8. Tip: The sauce is simmered and reduced to tone down the acidity of the ketchup.
