Bread Salad With Tomatoes And Basil Recipe

  1. Dip each slice of bread into a large bowl of cool water, then transfer to a colander set aside in the sink; let drain for 15 min.
  2. Gently squeeze each slice of bread to remove excess water, then cut the slices into medium dice.
  3. Transfer bread cubes to a large nonreactive bowl.
  4. Add in the remaining ingredients including 1 tsp.
  5. salt and 1/4 tsp.
  6. pepper; toss the ingredients to combine.
  7. Cover and refrigeratefor 1 hour.
  8. Serve.
  9. Makes 8servings.
