Italian-Style Roast Beef Sandwiches
- 6 garlic cloves
- 3 -4 lbs boneless chuck roast
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sliced pepperoncini pepper
- 1 tablespoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon fresh coarse ground black pepper
- Cut the garlic cloves into thin slices and use a small knife to insert the garlic deeply into the roast - all over.
- Put the broth into a slow cooker or a roasting pan.
- Add the garlic studded roast and top with the Pepperoncini slices, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
- Cover tightly and cook in a slow cooker on Low 4-6 hours.
