Savory Cannelloni Recipe

  1. For sauce, saute/fry garlic in butter 3 min.
  2. Stir in flour and seasonings.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Gradually stir in cream.
  5. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  6. Boil and stir 1 minute.
  7. Reduce heat to low, stir in cheese till melted; set aside.
  8. For cannelloni, parboil shells according to package directions; rinse and drain.
  9. Meanwhile, saute/fry onion in butter till golden brown, about 3 min.
  10. Remove from heat; stir in remaining ingredients.
  11. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  12. Fill shells, place in buttered 2 qt rectangular baking dish.
  13. Spoon sauce over filled cannelloni.
  14. Bake 20 min.
  15. Then broil several inches from source of heat about 5 min or possibly till sauce becomes golden brown and bubbles.
  16. Serve immediately.
