Gracie's Green Chile Stew

  1. Brown meat in large pot.
  2. Add chopped onion, green chiles and tomatoes.
  3. Add garlic powder, salt, pepper & sugar.
  4. Stir well and simmer on low for about 10 minutes.
  5. Add tomatoes, potatoes and water.
  6. Cover and simmer for at least 30 minutes.
  7. NOTE: If you want a "hotter" stew, add some chopped jalapeno or habanero peppers, to your taste.
