Upside Down Apple Tart

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Melt butter in 10" nonstick skillet on medium heat.
  3. Add dry jello mix and cinnamon.
  4. Cook and stir until gelatin is dissolved.
  5. Arrange apples, cut side down, in a circular pattern on the bottom of the skillet.
  6. Top with the rest of the apples.
  7. Cook apples on medium-low heat for 20 minute or until apples begin to soften and gelatin mixture starts to thicken.
  8. Place pie crust over apples and put all in the oven.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes or until crust is golden and apples are tender.
  10. Cool 3 minutes.
  11. Place plate on top of skillet and carefully invert.
  12. Serve warm with whipped cream.
