Packed with Vegetables! Asparagus and Vegetable Pork Rolls
- 180 grams Pork loin sliced thinly
- 1 bunch Asparagus
- 1 small Carrot
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Sake
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 1 Salt and pepper
- 1 for frying Oil
- Cut the carrots and asparagus to the same length, microwave for 1 1/2-2 minutes.
- Evenly coat the thinly sliced meat on both sides with salt and pepper.
- Roll up the vegetables while tugging the meat a bit, and secure with toothpicks.
- Heat oil in a frying pan, and cook until golden brown while shaking the pan back and forth.
- Pour in the mixed ingredients around the edge of pan, roll the meat back and forth to coat in the sauce, cover with a lid, and steam cook over medium heat.
- Roll the meat over halfway through, and it is done once it is coated in the sauce!
- Remove the toothpicks, cut into easy-to-eat portion sizes, and enjoy.
