Bran Muffins With Flax Meal
- 3 cups Kellogg's all-bran cereal
- 3 cups boiling water
- 34 cup oil
- 1 cup applesauce
- 34 cup brown sugar
- 34 cup Splenda granular
- 2 eggs
- 12 cup dry buttermilk
- 2 12 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 12 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons flax seed meal
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- Add boiling water to cereal.
- Let sit until water is absorbed.
- Mix wet ingredients.
- Add dry ingredients.
- Bake as in 400F oven for 15-20 minutes.
- Store batter in fridge for up to 6 weeks.
