Easy Chicken Parmesan Bake
- 1 jar (32 Oz. Size) Marinara Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- 3 pounds Chicken Tenderloins
- 3/4 teaspoons Garlic Salt
- Pepper To Taste
- 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
- 1/2 teaspoons Dried Basil
- 1 can (7 Oz. Size) Mushroom Stems And Pieces, Drained
- 3/4 cups Parmesan Cheese
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Open the jar of marinara.
- Add the red pepper flakes right into the jar, put the lid back on, and give it a good shake.
- Set aside.
- Coat a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Layer all the chicken tenderloins evenly in the baking dish.
- Sprinkle the chicken with the garlic salt, pepper, oregano and basil, and sprinkle on the mushrooms.
- Pour the marinara evenly over all the chicken.
- Use a spoon to spread and smooth it out.
- Liberally sprinkle the Parmesan on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil, and bake an additional 15 minutes, or until cheese is slightly browned and bubbly.
- May be served over pasta or rice.
- Its also great spooned into a soup bowl and then shredded in its own juices!
