Debs chicken pot pie

  1. Pre heat oven to 425F Fahrenheit
  2. Place potatoes and carrots in saucepan cover with water.
  3. Bring to boil reduce heat and cover 8-10 minutes and drain.
  4. In a large skillet heat butter over medium heat.
  5. Add onion cook until tender.
  6. Stir in flour and seasonings.
  7. Gradually stir in broth and milk.
  8. Bring to a boil stirring constantly, cook and stir 2 minutes until thickened.
  9. Stir in chicken, peas, corn and potatoes into mixture and remove from heat.
  10. Unroll pie crust into 9 inch pie plate trim even with rim.
  11. Add chicken mixture.
  12. Put top crust on.
  13. Trim, seal and flute cut slits in top.
  14. Bake 35-40 minutes let stand 15 minutes.
