Sizzling Party Beef Kebabs

  1. Trim beef of any excess fat.
  2. Place in a shallow dish.
  3. Combine the marinade ingredients.
  4. Pour over the meat, coating well.
  5. Cover.
  6. Refrigerate for a few hours or overnight.
  7. Add mushrooms to marinade.
  8. Simmer onion quarters in water until barely tender.
  9. Thread the meat, mushrooms, onions, water chestnuts and pieces of bacon on individual skewers.
  10. Broil about 4 inches from heat.
  11. Turn and baste with marinade while cooking for 12 to 15 minutes until glazed.
