Sausage and Maple Corn Muffin Sandwiches

  1. Preheat oven to temperature indicated on corn muffin package.
  2. Prepare muffin batter and bake as directed on package for six muffins.
  3. Cool slightly.
  4. Heat sausage patties as directed on package.
  5. Cut muffins horizontally in half; drizzle syrup evenly over cut surfaces of muffin halves.
  6. Top bottom half of each muffin with 1 sausage patty; cover with top of muffin.
  7. Serve warm.
