Sweet and Spice Sauce

  1. Combine all ingredients except the bell and minced jalapeno peppers in a small saucepan.
  2. Whisk well.
  3. Set saucepan over medium high heat, uncovered.
  4. Add peppers and bring mixture to a full boil, stirring often.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer sauce for 5 to 7 minutes, or until thick.
  6. Remove from heat and let sauce sit for about 10 minutes.
  7. Stir and cover.
  8. Use sauce when it reaches room temperature or cover and chill until needed.
  9. *This recipe makes 1 cup of sauce.
