Macrobiotic Black Tea Flavoured Almond Cookies
- 60 grams Cake flour
- 60 grams Whole wheat flour (or Cake flour)
- 1 tbsp Black tea leaves
- 15 grams Crushed almonds
- 1 pinch Salt
- 3 tbsp Canola oil
- 3 tbsp Maple syrup
- Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix with a whisk.
- Preheat the oven to 160C.
- Add the canola oil and maple syrup and mix evenly until everything is combined.
- Piece the dough on the kitchen bench top, and roll it over to 5 mm thick.
- Cut into around 2 x 3 cm pieces.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes first and turn them over.
- Then bake another 15 minutes.
