  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

  3. In a large bowl, combine cereal and oats.

  5. In a large measuring cup, combine honey and oil; pour over the cereal/oat mix.
  6. Stir gently until completely coated.

  8. Spread cereal on a foil-lined cookie sheet.
  9. (You may also want to spray the foil with cooking spray.)

  11. Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes, stirring cereal occasionally.
  12. Make sure it turns golden brown; do not burn.

  14. In the meantime, melt butter in a medium bowl.
  15. 6.
  16. Add Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, and celery salt; stir.
  17. Then, add the mixed nuts and stir to coat.
  18. 7.
  19. Once again, spread butter/nut mixture on a foil-lined cookie sheet and, once again, bake, at 300 degrees for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  21. Allow both pans to cool completely.
  22. 9.
  23. In a large container, mix the cereal and nuts together.
  24. 10.
  25. Enjoy!
  26. Note: the next time I make this, I plan to add a little cayenne to the butter/nut coating!
