Tortellini With Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook pasta in boiling water for 6 to 8 minutes, drain.
  3. Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add sausage and pepper flakes.
  5. Cook until sausage is no longer pink, stirring often, about 8 minutes, drain.
  6. Add onion and garlic to skillet and cook until onion is tender and sausage is light brown, stirring often, about 7 minutes.
  7. Stir in cream, tomatoes, salt and parsley.
  8. Simmer until mixture thickens slightly, about 5 minutes.
  9. Stir cooked pasta into sauce, and heat through.
