Easy Beef and Broccoli

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together beef broth, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, cornstarch, ginger and garlic.
  2. Set aside.
  3. In a large wok or non-stick skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
  4. Add sliced steak to the pan and cook for 34 minutes, flipping once, until browned all over.
  5. Add the prepared sauce and broccoli and stir to coat everything.
  6. Continue to cook for another 34 minutes until broccoli is tender and sauce has thickened slightly.
  7. If you have a lid, you can cover it and just leave it for about 3 minutes and it will be done.
  8. Stir in the grated carrots and heat for about 30 seconds.
  9. Serve over hot rice.
