Easy Beef and Broccoli
- 3/4 cups Beef Broth
- 2 Tablespoons Hoisin Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 2 teaspoons Cornstarch
- 1 Tablespoon Minced Ginger
- 3 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1 Tablespoon Sesame Oil
- 1 pound Flank Steak, Sliced Thinly Across The Grain
- 4 cups Broccoli Florets
- 1 cup Shredded Carrots
- In a small bowl, whisk together beef broth, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, cornstarch, ginger and garlic.
- Set aside.
- In a large wok or non-stick skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add sliced steak to the pan and cook for 34 minutes, flipping once, until browned all over.
- Add the prepared sauce and broccoli and stir to coat everything.
- Continue to cook for another 34 minutes until broccoli is tender and sauce has thickened slightly.
- If you have a lid, you can cover it and just leave it for about 3 minutes and it will be done.
- Stir in the grated carrots and heat for about 30 seconds.
- Serve over hot rice.
