Mint Julep
- 12 to 15 fresh spearmint leaves, plus a sprig for garnish
- 2 fluid ounces Bourbon
- 1 teaspoon superfine sugar
- 1 fluid ounce club soda
- 1.
- Place mint, sugar, and a few drops bourbon in a chilled silver cup or glass mug.
- Muddle leaves with sugar by pressing with a pestle or a wooden spoon until fragrant and sugar dissolves.
- Add ice and pour in remaining bourbon; stir to combine.
- Top off drink with club soda.
- Garnish with mint sprig and serve.
