Tangerine Sherbet

  1. In a bowl, mix together all the ingredients.
  2. Strain through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl.
  3. Chill.
  4. Freeze in an ice cream freezer according to the manufacturer's directions.
  5. Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan.
  6. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 to 2 minutes, or until the liquid is clear.
  7. Remove from the heat.
  8. Let cool and store in a container, covered, in the refrigerator, until ready to use.
  9. Yield: 1 cup
