Cajun Turkey Burgers Recipe

  1. Coat a cool grill rack with vegetable cooking spray.
  2. Prepare charcoal grill for direct-heat cooking.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine turkey, Worcestersire sauce and 2 Tbsp.
  4. Creole seasoning.
  5. Proportionately divide turkey mix into 8 burgers, approximately 3 1/2 inches in diameter.
  6. Grill burgers 5 to 6 min per side or possibly till 160 degrees is reached on a meat thermometer (meat should no longer be pink in the center).
  7. In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, combine tomatoes, remaining Creole seasoning and the garlic.
  8. Cook 5 min or possibly till most of the liquid has evaporated.
  9. To serve, place burger on bottom half of each bun, drizzle with 3 Tbsp.
  10. sauce and top with other half of bun.
  11. This recipe yields 8 burgers.
