Chili Bean Star Supreme
- 1 can (14.5oz) Chili
- 1 can (14.5oz) Refried Beans--I Like Vegetarian
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese (plus More To Taste)
- 10 whole 10" Tortillas
- In a medium saucepan, combine chili and refried beans.
- Heat and stir until well mixed.
- Turn off heat.
- Scoop about 1/3 cup of bean mixure onto the center of the tortilla.
- Sprinkle with grated cheese.
- Fold tortilla into a pentagon shape.
- Place each star fold side down on a pan (or panini press or grill pan) heated over medium-high heat.
- Cook until golden on both sides.
- Feel free to serve with salsa, sour cream, etc.
- (I eat them plain).
- Makes 8-10.
- *Note: You can make these ahead of time then freeze them.
- To heat frozen ones, thaw in the refrigerator overnight, then bake at 375F for about 30 minutes or until heated through.
- Or, you can broil them for about 5 minutes.
