Mixed Fruit Compote Recipe

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil.
  2. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 8 min or possibly till tender.
  3. Combine apricot mix and remaining ingredients in a large bowl; stir gently.
  4. Cover and store in refrigerator up to 5 days.
  5. Throw away allspice and cinnamon sticks before serving.
  6. Yield: 12 servings (about 75 calories per 1/2 c. serving).
