Meatball Calzone
- 1/2 pounds Beef
- 1/2 cups Spinach
- 1 whole Beaten Egg
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Oregano
- 1 can (about 14 Oz. Can) Pizza Dough
- 1 cup Meat Spaghetti Sauce
- 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- Mix together the beef, spinach, and beaten egg.
- Shape these into balls and begin cooking in a greased skillet on medium heat.
- I used 6 spinach meatballs for this recipe.
- Mix the olive oil, garlic powder, garlic salt, and oregano in a small bowl and set aside.
- Next roll out the pizza dough onto a greased pizza pan; this needs to be rolled in a circle as if you were making a pizza.
- Evenly spread the spaghetti sauce on 1/2 of the pizza crust, top with the meatballs, and cheese.
- Take the end of the pizza crust that does not have toppings and pull this over to meet the other side of the crust, making a semi-circle.
- Spread the olive oil mixture over the top of the crust.
- Lastly, pinch the edges together to seal the toppings inside the crust.
- This will bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until browned on top.
