Black Gold Burgers
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 cups yellow onions, finely chopped
- 1/3 cup garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 cups A.1. Original Sauce
- 24 each frozen ground beef patties
- 24 each kaiser rolls, split
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Melt butter in large skillet on medium-high heat.
- Add onions and garlic; saute 3 min.
- or until onions are crisp-tender.
- Stir in sugar.
- Reduce heat to low; simmer 10 min., stirring frequently.
- Stir in steak sauce; keep warm.
- Meanwhile, grill burgers until cooked through.
- Remove from grill; cover to keep warm.
- For each serving: Spoon 1 Tbsp.
- of the steak sauce mixture onto bottom half of roll; cover with 1 burger, an additional 1 Tbsp.
- steak sauce mixture and top of roll.
