Sweet and Savory Artichokes
- 450 grams Artichokes
- 5 tbsp Katakuriko
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 4 tbsp Mirin
- 1 Sesame oil (finishing touch)
- 1 White sesame seeds
- 1 Red chili peppers (sliced)
- Wash the artichokes well and cut into bite-sized pieces.
- (Don't peel the skin.)
- Coat with katakuriko.
- Deep-fry in oil until crispy.
- Combine the ingredients and heat in a frying pan.
- Add the freshly fried artichokes to the frying pan from Step 4 and coat them evenly.
- Add the white sesame seeds and the sesame oil to Step 5 and briefly stir.
- Add red chili pepper to taste.
