Uncle Wally's Pizza Dough Recipe
- 5 pound bag Gold Medal better for bread flour
- 1 1/2 pkg. rapid rise yeast
- 1 c. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 c. hot water
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Mix water, yeast, sugar, salt and oil dissolving thoroughly.
- Add in 3 1/2 c. more hot water, then begin adding flour by the c. till the dough is hard and not sticky (about 4 3/4 pounds).
- Let dough rise 3 to 4 hrs.
- Beat down and let rise again 1 to 2 hrs.
- Makes 4 to 6 pizzas.
- Dough can be frzn.
