Angel Hair Pomodoro
- 1 package (16 Oz. Package) Angel Hair Pasta (Barilla)
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 6 whole Ripe Roma Tomatoes, Diced
- 1/2 Tablespoons Kosher Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Pepper
- 1 can (8 Oz. Can) Tomato Sauce
- 1 bunch Fresh Basil
- Fresh Parmesan Cheese, To Serve
- Begin boiling salted water with a little olive oil for pasta; cook pasta to al dente.
- While cooking the pasta, heat a Dutch oven over medium heat.
- Place the olive oil and garlic in the Dutch oven.
- Cook garlic for 2-3 minutes, being careful not to overcook it to where it becomes brown or burn it.
- Next add the Roma tomatoes and all the juices from your cutting board from dicing them.
- Add the kosher salt, pepper, and tomato sauce.
- Lower your heat to medium-low and let cook while the pasta finishes.
- Drain pasta when done, add to the Dutch oven with the tomato mixture, toss and let it sit for a few minutes to absorb all the flavors.
- Last, add the fresh chopped basil.
- Serve with fresh parmesan cheese.
