Easy Carrot & Broccoli au Gratin
- 2 cups baby carrots, cut in half Target 2 lb For $3.00 thru 02/06
- 1 bunch broccoli, cut into florets (about 4 cups)
- 10 Ritz Crackers, crushed
- 3 Tbsp. Kraft 100% Parmesan Grated Cheese
- 1 Tbsp. non-hydrogenated margarine, melted
- 1/2 cup Cheez Whiz Cheese Spread
- 1/4 cup Philadelphia Cream Cheese Product
- Bring 3 cups water to boil in large saucepan on medium-high heat.
- Add carrots.
- Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 8 min.
- Add broccoli; simmer an additional 3 min.
- or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
- Meanwhile, mix cracker crumbs, Parmesan cheese and margarine; set aside.
- Microwave Cheez Whiz and cream cheese product in 2-cup microwaveable measuring cup or medium bowl on HIGH 1 min.
- ; stir.
- Microwave an additional 30 sec.
- or until Cheez Whiz and cream cheese are completely melted and mixture is well blended when stirred.
- Drain vegetables; place in serving bowl.
- Top with cheese sauce; sprinkle with crumb mixture.
