Bacon-Scented Broccoli
- 12 ounces broccoli florets
- 2 slices centered cut bacon
- 14 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 18 teaspoon salt
- Place broccoli in a large pan of boiling water.
- Cook three to five minutes or until broccoli is crisp tender; drain.
- Fry bacon in a non-stick skillet.
- Remove bacon with slotted spoon and crumble.
- Add broccoli, bacon, salt, and pepper to bacon drippings.
- Coat broccoli.
- Cook for one minute.
