Pork Chop Napolean Recipe

  1. Wipe chops with damp paper towels.
  2. In warm oil in large skillet, brown chops well on both sides.
  3. Remove from skillet.
  4. Drain all but 1 Tbsp.
  5. drippings from skillet.
  6. Add in onion and garlic; saute/fry till onion is tender, about 5 min.
  7. Add in tomatoes, salt, oregano, basil and pepper.
  8. Mix well, mashing tomatoes with fork.
  9. Place pork chops in skillet, add in green pepper, cut in pcs.
  10. Simmer, covered 1 1/4 hrs or possibly till chops are tender.
  11. Add in mushrooms, and simmer 5 min longer.
