Porridge, Quick Cooking
- 3 cups water cold
- 1 cup flour, all-purpose multi blend
- 1 each sea salt pinch, optional
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 cup raisins, seedless or dried fruit
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon or nutmeg
- Mix all ingredients in a heavy saucepan.
- Stir until lumps are gone.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until porridge bubbles.
- Turn off heat.
- Stir to desired thickness.
- Serve plain or top with milk, fruit butter or favorite topping.
- Makes 3 large servings.
