French Toast Sticks with Bread Crusts
- 8 Bread crusts
- 1 medium Egg
- 1 tbsp Milk
- 4 tsp Sugar
- 6 drops Vanilla oil
- 10 grams Butter (or margarine)
- Prepare the bread crusts If it's frozen, defrost before using.
- It's more tasty if there's a generous amount of the white parts.
- Crack an egg into a bowl and beat well.
- Add milk, sugar, and vanilla oil and mix well.
- Add all crusts into the liquid and set aside to let all sides soak it up.
- Heat some butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Add crusts when the butter is warm.
- Flip over when one side is brown, and continue to grill.
- Keep on flipping them over and make sure that each side is grilled well.
- It's ready to eat when it's looking crispy and golden brown overall.
