Johann's Yee-Hah Irish Coffee
- Good-quality Irish whiskey (Jameson
- Bushmill's)
- 1/4 cup strong espresso
- 1 pint heavy cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
- Kahlua
- Set about a quart of water to boil on the stove.
- Whip cream to very soft peaks (should still be a little runny).
- Add 1/2 of the sugar to cream and dissolve.
- Pour boiling water into a footed glass or other suitable glass.
- Drain water when glasses are very hot.
- Brew the espresso and mix with the other half of the sugar.
- Pour sweetened espresso in the bottom of each glass and then top with whiskey.
- Spoon soft-whipped cream on top of that and drizzle a small amount of Kahlua on the cream.
- Serve immediately.
